The Record Company arrive at "All Of This Life" with the kind of conviction that only comes from a band fully in command of its craft. This Indie Exclusive pressing captures a group leaning into the roadhouse grit and soulful uplift that has defined them, delivering ten tracks that move with purpose and heart across two sides of wax.
Side A opens with "Life To Fix" before rolling into the buoyant declaration of "I'm Getting Better (And I'm Feeling It Right Now)," a song whose title alone signals the record's spirit of resilience. From there, "Goodbye To The Hard Life," "Make It Happen," and "You And Me Now" round out the first half, each carrying that unmistakable blend of blues muscle and forward momentum.
Flip to Side B and the mood keeps shifting and expanding, from the warmth of "Coming Home" and the cinematic sweep of "The Movie Song" to the late night tension of "Night Games." The closing stretch of "Roll Bones" and "I'm Changing" brings the album full circle, ending on a note of transformation that feels earned rather than announced.
The sonics here are the work of a deep and dedicated team. Produced by Alex Stiff and The Record Company, the album was recorded at Boulevard Recording and TRC Studios, with engineering handled by Clay Blair and Alex Stiff, alongside assistant engineers Omar Yakar and Eric Van Lake. Mark Needham mixed the record with assistance from Tyler Spratt, and Paul Blakemore mastered it at CMG Mastering, giving these performances the space and punch they deserve on vinyl.
The package is a labor of care as well. Daniel Murphy handled art direction, with additional package design from Marc Cazorla. The visual story unfolds across contributions from Jen Rosenstein, whose photography graces the back cover, Marc Cazorla, who captured the inner gatefold, and Kimberly Zsebe together with The Record Company for the sleeve imagery. It all adds up to a collectible presentation worthy of the music inside.
