As the last of the Bentonia Blues musicians, Duck would also like to pay tribute to and honor Henry "Son" Stuckey, Jack Owens, Cornelius Bright, Skippy James, Tommy Lee West, Bud Spires, Adam Slater, Jacob Stuckey, Dodd Stuckey, and Bird Slater.

Duck has devoted his life to the Bentonia Blues.
He owns and operates Mississippi's oldest surviving juke joint - The Blue Front Cafe, runs the oldest blues festival - The Bentonia Blues Festival, and recently started his own blues record label - Blue Front Records.
