The record was captured at Electric Lady Studios in New York and re-mixed at Trident Studios in London, with Ken Scott serving as recording and re-mix engineer, a pairing of rooms and talent that gave the album its clarity and punch.

Stanislaw Zagorski handled the album design, with cover painting by Jeff Snider and photography contributions from Armen Kachaturian on the backliner and Urve Kuusik inside.
