A further group of performances was recorded June 3 and 4, 2001 at Capitol Studios and mixed there June 5 through 7, giving the record its blend of sweeping strings and closer, more direct jazz intimacy.

Collectors should note one chapter in this pressing's history. A sound quality issue was identified on the second LP, leading to a recall roughly a month after release. Buyers who obtained an affected copy from Acoustic Sounds were advised that a replacement second LP would be sent, with shipping of those replacements reportedly beginning in late February 2025.
