Visions by Norah Jones.

Norah Jones returns to the collector's shelf with "Visions," a 2024 release on Blue Note Records that pairs her signature warmth with a rich, live-band immediacy. Produced by Leon Michels, the album unfolds across twelve tracks, opening with "All This Time" and moving through "Staring At The Wall," "Paradise," and the title cut before landing on the closing standard "That's Life." It is a record that rewards front-to-back listening, and this pressing was clearly made with that intention in mind.

This is the European edition, and it carries a distinct identity from its US counterpart. Rather than the FBI anti-piracy warning, the rear sleeve bears the European Rights Society information BIEM/SDRM, a "Made in EU" designation, a label code, and European copyright details, all echoed on the side A and side B labels. The pressing itself was made in Germany, a fact originally noted on a sticker affixed to the shrink wrap of the rear cover.

For collectors chasing variants, the appeal runs deeper still. This copy is the Indie Record Store Exclusive, featuring both an exclusive cover and striking Orange Blend vinyl, details that were called out on a sticker on the front cover's shrink wrap. It is the kind of edition that stands apart in a shelf of standard black wax, and one that speaks directly to those who value the small differences that make a pressing worth seeking out.

The sonic pedigree is worth dwelling on. "Visions" was recorded at The Legendary Diamond Mine in Queens, New York, and Diamond Mine North in Rhinebeck, with mixing handled by Jens Jungkurth back at the Legendary Diamond Mine. Michels engineered the sessions, with Jungkurth engineering "I'm Awake," "Swept Up In The Night," and "Alone With My Thoughts," and Lucas Carpenter assisting. Mastering was completed by Alex DeTurk and Garrett Robinson at Bunker Studio in Brooklyn, with vinyl mastering by Scott Hull and Garrett Robinson at Masterdisk Studios in Peekskill, and lacquers cut by Scott Hull.

The physical package rounds out the experience with care. A printed inner sleeve houses the full lyrics and credits, giving the listener something to read while the record spins. Art direction and design come from Katie Moore, with photography by Joelle Grace Taylor, and the runouts are etched, though "MASTERDISK" and "-63342-" appear stamped, small marks that authenticate the pressing's craft.

Issued under Blue Note Records with a 2024 copyright held by Capitol Records, LLC, this is a thoughtfully assembled edition of one of Norah Jones's most engaging recent works, ideal for the collector who values both the music and the details of the object itself.
